Fox 2000 has bought Isaac Adamson’s science-fiction thriller “Helios” and has set the project up with Josh Bratman’s Immersive Pictures to produce.

Shane Munguia is co-producing and Gillian Bohrer is the executive overseeing for Fox 2000. Nikki Ramey was also instrumental in obtaining the project. Film details are being kept under wraps.

Adamson is currently adapting his Billy Chaka novel “Tokyo Suckerpunch” for Lionsgate, a decade after being set up at Sony. Adamson has also written “Hokkaido Popsicle,” “Dreaming Pachinko,” “Kinki Lullaby,” and “Complication.”

His script about Michael Jackson’s pet chimpanzee “Bubbles,” told from the chimp’s perspective, received the top number of votes of the 100 screenplays named to last year’s Black List.

Bratman has executive producing credits on “The Sitter,” “Fright Night,” and “Priest.” He signed a first-look deal last year with Sony Pictures.

Adamson is repped by CAA, manager Lee Stobby, and attorney Michael Schenkman.
